Brian Atwood Fall 2011 Shoe Collection

Check out a preview of Brian Atwood's Fall 2011 Shoes. I'm not the biggest Brian Atwood fan, but he does tickle my tastebuds with this preview. I'd like to see what else is to come.

Dior Addict Lipstick

The Dior Addict Lipstick Collection is for the woman who is not afraid to experiment with her style. There are three categories for each type of woman: Doll Style, Rock Icon Style and Glam Style.
The Doll Style is heavy with pearls and nude to natural tones of pink.
The Rock Icon Style is celebrated with black skyscraper heels, dark oversized sunglasses, sexy jewelry and wild, strong lipstick shades.
The Glam Style is set for the classic woman who adores leather, Lace and Fur Brim and is glamorous in brown, red or plum lipstick.

Isabel Marant Fall 2011

The Isabel Marant Fall 2011 collection is a very laid back collection. It features relaxed, everyday looks that I could definitely see myself wearing. And even though they are relaxed, they are still sexy. The pieces feature much denim, fringe and knits. I am in love with the wrap dress. The boots are cute, but they are nothing new as fringe boots have been out for quite a few seasons now. Very cute collection overall.

Alexander McQueen Fall 2011

Sarah Burton is doing an amazing job channeling McQueen. The Fall 2011 collection was unveiled at the Conciergerie, which was the antechamber to the guillotine during the French Revolution, holding thousands of prisoners, including Marie Antoinette. It was also the location of one of McQueen's most memorable shows, where live wolves walked the runway. What starts off with very dark and armour-like pieces, ends with beautiful flowing snow white dresses. The palette is strictly black, grey and white (with a hint of lavender) and there are many different fabrics sewn wonderfully together. The word 'powerful' definitely comes to mind with the first half and then 'Ice Queen' for the remainder. I just can't get over how much this collection carries on with McQueen's visions and spirit.
